Thread: What is the average cost to have developers to make automation software?

I'm thinking of having someone at freelance website to make an automation software and I'm in need of some advice before heading there and place a post.
What is the average cost if I want a twitter automation software that could do multi threading, proxy rotation, account rotation and so on?
What is the good program that is good to make these kind of software?
Should I worry about where they from?
What background should I require before hiring?
etc etc etc.
I just need advice?

What features are you wanting? I'm a developer on several freelance sites. I can give you a good estimate if I knew some details.

I'm starting to learn visual basic 2010 express edition that is free from microsoft. It's easy to make a template but have no idea for coding the backend. I had post in freelance and elance for the project but have not decided to pick a bid yet. I will send you my description in pm.

Just a heads up whether you use getafreelancer or vworker, finding the programmer to do the work will range anywhere from $50 to $500 depending on the work load that is required. Coming from a programmers aspect the workload would require you to be specific on what domains you're submitting the content too, its easy enough to write the data to send the information to the domains, its another for a programmer who knows nothing about submission work. Write a plan out and submit your offer on either domain and in the price just select the option asking them to make an offer so then you will have an idea. Write specifically what you want in the application, but don't go into detail, you do that when they reply, Any questions please feel free to ask.

What worries me is that they might do so little and run away. Or Ask for more and more and never get the job done.
