    inquisitor Note:
As you may be aware, I am a fan of Adobe Photoshop (and most of the other Adobe programs.. LOL) so I thought I'd share this course with you since I found some of the techniques used in the making of these text effects absolutely invaluable..

This may be a very old course from 2011, but it contains some really excellent tips for creating a range of really terrific looking text effects which I shall be using on my book cover graphics, page graphics and elsewhere of course.

The text effects are easy to recreate since you are shown step-by-step along the way on each effect and can be performed in Adobe Photoshop CC which is shared here in BHT by a nice member..

    About Course

Join Corey Barker as he shows designers some fun and creative ways to manipulate text in Photoshop. Along with a healthy dose of design tips, viewers will also learn about where to find free fonts on the web, sources for type-design inspiration, how to design with smart objects, color effects, and layer styles. The last few lessons of this course cover how to design with the new 3D tools in Photoshop CS5 Extended. These final lessons are specific to CS5 Extended, but there is plenty of information in this course for every version of Photoshop. Whether you work in print or web, text effects are important design elements for users in every area and at every skill level.

I thank you as well @inquisitor for both of these great shares on PS. I've somewhat stayed away from PS, as it always seemed to be a huge learning curve. These tutorials should help easy me in. ;)

    Thanks again.

These are excellent tutorials from a true master of Photoshop, he's been using Photoshop since the earliest version and knows his stuff so much so that Adobe have employed him..

There are so, so many other video or textual tutorials available these days whether they are on Adobe's own site, YouTube or a private individual's website so it's just a case of having a go with the program (Any Adobe program) and when you have an issue simply type your problem into Google (Stating whether it's Photoshop or any of the other Adobe programs) and you will be presented with a plethora of great answers that are either visual by way of a video on Adobe's site or on someone's website or a YouTube video or even a written piece on a website that also contains visual aid references by way of graphical images..

The latter method is the way that I have learnt to use Photoshop and like everyone else I am still learning as I go as well, so these videos are a welcome addition to my personal knowledgebase that I can refer to time and again when I need them, so my reasoning was that if I am finding them to be a good experience that are quite easy to follow along and create, then I should share them with others that are member of this great community.. ;)

    Regards.. :)
