    Upsell 1 ($67) drops to $37 if you indicate you're not interested.

    Thanks a lot.

    This whole upsell, downsell, crosssell, sh*tsell crap is beginning to infuriate me. Most solid products' vendors don't participate in these things because they KNOW that they have excellent well crafted products and that you will:

    1. stick with them for a long time, remain on their list and buy other excellent products from them in the future
    2. trust and respect them and their bonuses well enough to buy their affiliate recommendations.

    But all these hungry(?) vendors who do not trust their products seem to be in a hurry to grab as much as they can while the hype is still on. Check the list of some of the most solid long lasting products on the IM market - they don't make much noise since their products make the noise for them. Further they don't push some recycled junk to the market every two years.

    Check:
    Micro Niche Finder
    Bookmarking Demon
    Internet Business Promoter
    SE Nuke
    WP Robot
    ....etc

    My rule of thumb these days is - the more the upsell, downsell whateversell, the less I trust the product.
    But then that's my humble opinion

    @richnerd

    Whilst it is tempting to have that attitude,
    (indeed many of us probably feel the same way)
    we also need to learn to appreciate that these product vendors are NOT all scammers,
    there are some quality products on the market for all sorts of genres (allbeit fading in importance, relevance and most importantly VALUE)
    and moist importantly is the simple fact that some of these vendors are GREAT MARKETERS,
    therefore learn HOW they promote, and WHY THEY DO IT IN SUCH A MANNER, instead of WHAT it is that they are promoting.
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
    Does that make any sense?
    This is my opinion ;)

    @soccerette

    You are right that not all of them are scammers. My fury is with those that ACT like scammers. Learning their methods may be a good thing, but then I don't want my customers (Hey, I am not a vendor yet!) feeling the way I am currently feeling about them. You make sense, but I hate my inbox crammed up with a pile of rubbish promotions. Cheers!

    Worst sales page EVER.

    I just wouldn't trust this guy with a hosted solution like this. How long before he stops paying for the server and none of the embeds work anymore.

    The pro version of this web based software vidinfusion is the first OTO $67, the other link for the downsell $37 is:

    Code:
    http://www.vidinfusion.com/only-pro-features/
    The oto's above is for training.

    Thanks guys for the reviews. Before buying I hopped in here to check if there were any honest reviews. You can google the product name + reviews, you'll only find affiliates promoting it without a hint of what's lurking behind each corner before you get to your purchase.

    I have nothing against OTOs but that should be clear from the beginning of the sales page. Listening to this guy, you're given the idea that the main product is the be-all and end-all. It seems to be the trend now to bait you with a relatively low cost product that you can tinker with but if you want more than tinkering then you'd want the OTO's. I have been bitten the last few times and I've grown to be extremely weary & cautious.

    BHT is the place for some honest reviews and thanks to you all, I'm giving this a miss.

    Whilst we are all venting, I have to admit that the downsell annoys the crap out of me. Particularly if the product has not change. I always figure that I would be extremely peeved if I paid full price and find that if I went to close I would get a discount (sometimes quite significant) and of course even more so if there is a downsell on the downsell.

    The deal is, though that it is smart marketing. the typical pattern adds some more value... dev or agency license, additional feature unlock, white label....maybe a monthly plan. one or more bonuses or a trial period for the upgrades might be offered in a downsell if OTO1 isn't taken. OtO2 is usually some sort of training or coaching program for healthy bucks. People will buy in increments just like you can boil frogs by slowly raising the temperature. Marketers do it because it works and they generate much higher returns. sooooo.....when you put your own product on the market rather than grab products you won;t use (no offense, really mate!) Just do what they do and you will see it very differently. called a sales funnel and there are quite a number of products here that show exactly how to create them. My very best for your success in IM

    like this downsell is WITHOUT developer features....so it is a true downsell, not the same thing at a lower price. If you aren't planning to actually use it, I guess it doesn't really matter, but if you intend to use it on client sites, then the OTO is definitely the way to go
