    Hi friends, I mentioned some methods about how to do app store optimization before, as we all know that ASO is very important for app developers. So today I want to introduce some details about how to do it. Please read the following sentences.

    1. Use an Accurate App title

    App title is the most important factors to attract people to install your app. Because this can give people a profound impression if you choose a good title. Here are some methods about how to choose a good title.

    Title length is limited to 50 characters, but you would better restrict it no more than 23 characters. A too long title will be cut, so you need to make it concise. Also, avoid using professional terms, otherwise it will cause users’ trouble in understanding.

    In addition, your app major function should be included in the title. Because many users will give up installing apps when they don’t get useful information in it. What’s more, you can also include app brand in the title, which will expand app reputation and increase installs. Remember you would better not use this title that same with others. It will cause confusion and help other app increase installs.

    2. Create an Eye-catching App Icon
    Good app icon helps developers increase conversion rate. This is because the visual effect is more impressive. Before designing icon, you should analyze design rules on App Store. Then according to different models to design different suitable sizes and formats. And also make your app icon show the main function of your app. Try to use simple icon.

    Most people prefer to use keywords search to discover new apps or find apps whether they have heard about or not. They would like to show their intention by typing into the Store search bar. If you want to attract the audience to find your app easily, you had better fill keywords in the app title and description which match the user’s keyword search terms. With this method, it will strongly push your message same as showcase your app to the relevant audience.


    3. Choose Right and Relevant Keywords

    4. Create Attractive Screenshots
    App developers can upload 5 screenshots. While only 2 screenshots will be shown automatically, so you need pay attention to its arrangement. Put the most important elements in the former 2 screenshots, which will help attract users. And developers should design screenshot to let users know app functions and features.

    Thanks for this. Also, it requires keyword research for description as well just like we do in SEO. We have to look at our competitors and see the keywords they are using. There are tools available for ASO as well like SensorTower, MobileAction etc.

    Not to mention the rating of App matters and number of downloads matters as well, which includes our correspondence in comment section and how we respond to our customers.
