Please for the sake of the forum space, use SEARCH button before asking any requests.

This is getting big problem as members are not bothered to SEARCH before requesting.

If anyone can't find the product, please use the variation of words:

ie. "wso "my bla bla" -----WSO myblabla

This is not shown as the same.

Some members are putting GET some don't, so please for the last time use SEARCH button before requesting.

We will start warning people about this.

    Thank you

Thanks for posting that advice, aquarius.

A simple search would help clean up most of the duplicate requests.

I don't know about others on here, but I've frequently used the search function in an effort to find a product and it turns up nothing. Then I might do a search on Google for that same title and I can find a link leading back to the BHT forum with that exact product I was trying to find. I don't know if the search function simply doesn't work well or I'm just not using the search function correctly.

I use the advanced search function and try the entire wso title. Then I'll try a portion of the wso title. Then I'll try "in title only" or "search threads" and basically every combination I can think of and still come up empty until I try a search in Google.

I love this forum, but I have a love hate relationship with the search functionality.

I do agree with you on this, as I have come across the same issue at times..

I have had this problem numerous times as well, and I usually have to go to Google to find what I'm looking for. Maybe we will have to give specifics on how to post the title of WSO or something so we can find the product.

I think the admin needs to change the search function to look for the certain string in the titles, and not in the tags because most sharers(including me) don't use tags.

Not sure if it is possible to change the yellow color fill that highlights the searched word, as it is very irritating by obfuscating the text itself.

    Hey Everyone,

Thanks a lot for this post aquarius; good form. Yeah, it's very helpful for newbies and senior members alike. I found it especially appealing because I hate duplicate threads, too, except when one is a "correction" with proper information for another with bogus or wrong information. But, of course, a "correction" could / should be made in the original thread, as to eliminate or prevent duplicate threads for the same thing.

I do have to agree with the other commenters, however, in that I have had similar problems with using the "Search" function here. I think crappkid could be onto something, because unless OP's include "tags" in their posts, the "Search" is useless, as is. That's just my "two-cents worth" and I appreciate the opportunity to share it. Have a truly magnificent, prosperity filled day, and God bless you and yours!

    Regards,

    Michael

Hi, I found a post that I was looking for. But the thread is closed and links are dead.
Actually the wso had 2 pdf, I have main the PDF and I uploaded a mirror and wanted to post it. And also wanted to request for the 2nd PDF in that thread.

What should I do in this case? Thanks.
